I wonder why Rexy Mainaky chose Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah.This pair is good but once the pressure is high, they will not play well, unlike Zakry-Fairurizuan, who played under high pressure in Thomas Cup, but still they play GREATLY. This might be the last year veteran shuttlers Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah will play but the Olympics is to be played by the best players and not just because it is the last year playing. I rather Zakry and Fairurizuan to play as the play superbly in the recent Thomas Cup and their smash averaging from (200-250) km/h or more.
They were not pushed back by the pressure that if they lost it will be the end of the Thomas Cup for Malaysia.And cause of that, they won with bright colours. If they played in Olympics they have more chance as they might not be pushed back by the pressure.Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah had also always played defense and that makes them hard to get points and they will have a lot of disadvantage as their smash is not as strong as Zakry-Fairurizuan. I suggest that BAM should make a match between Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah and Zakry-Fairurizuan to see who has what it takes to go for the Olympics as it is an extremely important competition and Malaysia had NEVER, I repeat NEVER GOT AN OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL FOR BADMINTON. Zakry-Fairurizuan might take it for the first time as their hardest challenge will be Lee Yong Dae-Jung Jae Sung. I hope BAM would choose Zakry-Fairurizuan.
